Car
From the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center, head south on Pleasant Plains Road. Continue on this road and take a left onto US-202 S. Follow US-202 S for about 3 miles until you reach I-287 S. Merge onto I-287 S and continue for approximately 8 miles. Take exit 30B to merge onto NJ-24 E toward Morristown. After about 4 miles, take exit 2B to merge onto NJ-124 N toward Madison. Continue on NJ-124 N for about 1.5 miles. Turn right onto Main St, and the Museum of Early Trades & Crafts will be on your right at 9 Main St, Madison, NJ 07940. There is street parking available nearby.

From the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to the nearest train station, which is the Bernardsville Station. From there, take a NJ Transit train on the Gladstone Branch towards Hoboken. Disembark at Madison Station, which is a short ride of about 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Madison Station, walk north on Kings Road, then turn left onto Main St. The Museum of Early Trades & Crafts is located at 9 Main St, Madison, NJ 07940, just a few blocks away from the station. Make sure to check the NJ Transit schedule for train times, as frequency may vary.
