PATH TRAIN
To reach the Stephen Sondheim Theatre from Jersey City, start by heading to the PATH train station nearest to you. If you're at the Jersey City waterfront (like at Exchange Place), find the PATH station and take the train towards 'World Trade Center'. Stay on the train until you reach the 'World Trade Center' station. Once you arrive, exit the train and follow the signs to the Oculus and then head towards the subway station. Look for the E train and take it towards 'Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer'. Get off at the '42nd St-Port Authority Bus Terminal' stop. From there, walk east on 42nd St for about two blocks, then turn left on 8th Ave and walk until you reach 43rd St. The theatre will be on your right at 124 West 43rd St.

If you prefer to take a ferry, head to the Liberty State Park Ferry Terminal in Jersey City. Board the ferry that goes to Battery Park City. Once you arrive at Battery Park, make your way to the subway entrance for the R/W train at the 'Battery Park' subway station. Take the R train towards Forest Hills-71st Avenue. Get off at the '42nd St-Times Square' station. From there, walk two blocks west to 8th Ave and then turn left to walk until you reach 43rd St. The Stephen Sondheim Theatre will be on your right at 124 West 43rd St.

You can also take a bus to reach the Stephen Sondheim Theatre. From Jersey City, find a NJ Transit bus that goes to New York. You can catch a bus at the Journal Square Bus Terminal. Look for buses heading to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City. Once you arrive at the Port Authority, exit the bus terminal and walk east on 42nd St for about two blocks.
