From the Red Bank train station, exit and head southeast on West Front St toward Maple Ave. Continue straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Broad St. Turn left onto Broad St and walk for approximately 0.4 miles, passing through the charming downtown area with shops and restaurants. When you reach the intersection with Monmouth St, turn right and walk for another 0.2 miles. You'll come to a small park on your left; continue straight, and soon you'll see the train tracks. Cross over the tracks, continue straight, and you'll find the Navesink River on your left. The nearest parking area is at the waterfront, where you can catch a ferry to New York City.

From Red Bank, head to the Red Bank train station. Purchase a ticket for a northbound NJ Transit train to New York Penn Station. The train ride takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Penn Station, follow the signs to the Long Island Rail Road exit, and catch the subway (1 Train) towards South Ferry. After about 10 stops, get off at the 14th St station. Exit the station and walk one block west to 90 Bedford St. The Friends Apartment Building will be on your left.
