Car
From High Point State Park, take High Point Park Road and head southeast. Continue onto NJ-23 S for approximately 5 miles until you reach the intersection with Old Mine Road. Turn left onto Old Mine Road. Follow Old Mine Road for about 2 miles, and you will arrive at Worthington State Forest, located at 2 Old Mine Rd, Columbia, NJ 07832. There is no entrance fee for Worthington State Forest, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply in certain areas.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, start by taking a bus from High Point State Park to the nearest NJ Transit station, which is located in Newton, NJ. From there, you can take the NJ Transit bus 328 towards Phillipsburg. Request to get off at the nearest stop to Old Mine Road. From the bus stop, it is approximately a 20-minute walk to Worthington State Forest, located at 2 Old Mine Rd, Columbia, NJ 07832. Be sure to check the NJ Transit schedule for the latest bus times, and note that public transportation may have varying costs depending on your route.
