PATH Train
From any location in Hoboken, make your way to the Hoboken PATH station located at 1 Hudson Place. Take the PATH train towards World Trade Center. Get off at the 33rd Street station. Once you exit the station, walk to the 6th Avenue and 33rd Street intersection, then catch the MTA subway's B or D train. Take the B or D train towards The Bronx and get off at the 170th Street station. From there, transfer to the Bx12 bus towards Pelham Bay Park and get off at the stop closest to 2900 Southern Blvd, Bronx, NY 10458, which is near the New York Botanical Garden.

You can also take NJ Transit bus number 126 from Hoboken Terminal to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City. From there, transfer to the MTA subway and take the 2 or 5 train to the 3rd Avenue-149th Street station. Upon exiting, transfer to the Bx19 bus towards the Bronx Zoo. Get off at the stop nearest to the New York Botanical Garden located at 2900 Southern Blvd, Bronx, NY 10458.
