Walking
From the Hoboken Terminal, exit and head towards the waterfront walkway. Walk along the Hudson River, enjoying the views of Manhattan. Continue walking north towards the PATH train station. Once you reach the Path train station, take the PATH train to 33rd Street. After arriving at the 33rd Street station, transfer to the R or W train at the 34th Street-Herald Square station and ride uptown towards Times Square. Get off at the 49th Street station. Exit the station and walk east towards 6th Avenue. Turn left on 6th Avenue and walk until you reach Central Park South. The General William Tecumseh Sherman Monument is located at 764 Doris C Freedman Place, within the park near the entrance.

Start at the Hoboken Terminal and take the PATH train towards World Trade Center. Get off at the 9th Street station and transfer to the A or C train. Take the A or C train uptown to 42nd Street-Port Authority Bus Terminal. From there, transfer to the 1 train and head north towards 50th Street. Get off at the 50th Street station, exit, and walk east to 6th Avenue. Continue walking until you arrive at Central Park South. The monument is located at 764 Doris C Freedman Place, inside the park.

Continue biking until you reach the George Washington Bridge. From there, follow the signs that indicate directions towards Central Park.
