Getting There

  • Bus

    From the center of Paterson, head to the nearest bus stop on Broadway. Take the NJ Transit Bus 190 towards New York Port Authority. The bus will take you directly into New York City. Disembark at the Port Authority Bus Terminal. Once inside the terminal, follow signs to 8th Avenue and head south. Walk to W 42nd St and catch the M20 bus towards Battery Park City. Get off at the stop at W 13th St. Walk towards Hudson River Park, and you will find Little Island at Pier 55.

  • Train and Subway

    From Paterson, walk to the Paterson Train Station located at 100 Market St. Take the NJ Transit train on the Main Line towards Hoboken. Disembark at Hoboken Terminal. From there, follow signs to the PATH train and take the PATH to 33rd St. Once at 33rd St, transfer to the subway and take the A, C, or E trains downtown to 14th St. Exit the station and head west on 14th St until you reach the Hudson River. Walk south along the waterfront to find Little Island at Pier 55.

  • Walking and Subway

    If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Paterson and head towards the Great Falls National Historical Park, which is a popular landmark. From there, walk to the nearest NJ Transit stop, which is the Paterson Train Station. Take the train to New York Penn Station. At Penn Station, follow signs for the 1, 2, or 3 subway lines and board the train heading downtown. Disembark at 14th St. Walk west to the Hudson River and along the river until you reach Little Island at Pier 55.
