Train
From Greenwich, head to the Greenwich Train Station located at 2 Railroad Ave. Purchase a ticket for the Metro-North train towards Grand Central Terminal. The trains run frequently, typically every 30 minutes. Board the train and enjoy the approximately 50-minute ride to New York City. Once you arrive at Grand Central Terminal, follow the signs to the 42nd Street exit.

Subway
After exiting Grand Central Terminal, walk towards the 42nd Street-Bryant Park subway station. Take the B or D train downtown (towards Brooklyn). Travel for 4 stops and get off at the 34th Street-Herald Square station. From there, transfer to the A, C, or E train and head downtown to the 14th Street station. Exit the subway and walk west towards Washington Street.

Walking
From the 14th Street subway station, exit onto 14th Street. Turn left and walk south towards Washington Street. Continue walking for about 4 blocks until you reach Washington Street. Turn right onto Washington Street, and the Friends of The High Line will be on your left at 820 Washington St.

Bus
Alternatively, from Grand Central Terminal, you can take the MTA Bus M20 from 42nd Street. Board the bus heading towards South Ferry. After about 20 minutes, get off at the stop at Greenwich Street and 14th Street. From there, walk west towards Washington Street, turn right, and proceed to 820 Washington St.
