From Red Bank, walk to the Red Bank Train Station located at 176 Riverside Ave. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to New York Penn Station. Take a North Jersey Coast Line train towards New York Penn Station. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Upon arrival at Penn Station, follow the signs to the subway.

At Penn Station, navigate to the 1 subway line (the red line) by following the signs for the 1 train. Board a train heading towards South Ferry. After about 12 stops, get off at the Chambers St station. From there, walk 5 minutes to the 9/11 Memorial & Museum located at 180 Greenwich St.
