Take the A train towards Inwood-207 St or the C train towards 168 St. Disembark at the West 4th St Station, transfer to the F train towards Jamaica-179 St, and get off at the 2nd Ave Station. Exit the station and walk east along Houston St. Turn left on Essex St and you will find Essex Market at 88 Essex St.
