From Red Bank Station, take the NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line train towards Bay Head. After approximately 12 minutes, get off at the Highlands Station. Once you exit the station, walk north on Bay Avenue until you reach the intersection with Route 36. Turn left onto Route 36 and walk for about 0.5 miles. You will see signs pointing towards Twin Lights State Historic Site. Continue walking until you reach the site at 2 Light House Rd.

From Red Bank, take the NJ Transit Bus No. 830 towards Long Branch. Get off at the stop on Route 36 near the intersection with Light House Road. From there, walk along Light House Road for about 0.3 miles until you reach Twin Lights State Historic Site at 2 Light House Rd.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Red Bank. Head towards the waterfront and follow the bike path along the Navesink River. After about 4 miles, you will reach the intersection of Route 36. Head north on Route 36, and after approximately 1 mile, turn left onto Light House Road. Continue straight until you arrive at Twin Lights State Historic Site located at 2 Light House Rd.

If you enjoy walking, start from the center of Red Bank and head east on West Front Street. Continue straight until you reach the water, then turn left to head north along the waterfront. Follow the path along the Navesink River, turning onto Route 36. Keep walking for about 1.5 miles along Route 36 until you reach Light House Road. Turn left here, and you will find Twin Lights State Historic Site at 2 Light House Rd.
