Getting There

Car
From Bandelier National Monument, head east on NM-4 E for approximately 11 miles. Continue on NM-4 E until you reach the intersection with US-550. Turn right onto US-550 S and continue for about 2 miles. Take the exit towards Bernalillo and merge onto NM-528 S. After about 2 miles, take the exit for NM-550 S/Bernalillo. Continue on this road for about 1 mile, and then turn left onto Kuaua Rd. The Coronado Historic Site will be on your right at 485 Kuaua Rd, Bernalillo, NM 87004.

Public Transportation
From Bandelier National Monument, you will need to take a shuttle or a taxi to the nearest bus station that connects to the NM Park and Ride service. The closest major bus station is in Los Alamos. From there, take the NM Park and Ride bus towards Albuquerque. You will need to transfer at the Albuquerque bus terminal to catch the Sandoval County bus heading towards Bernalillo. Get off at the closest stop to Coronado Historic Site and walk approximately 0.5 miles to reach the site at 485 Kuaua Rd, Bernalillo, NM 87004. Please check the bus schedules ahead of time as they may vary.
