Getting There

  If you are driving from the Sandia Peak Tramway area, head southeast on Sandia Crest Scenic Byway (State Road 536) towards the junction with NM-333 (also known as State Route 333). Drive about 7 miles until you reach the junction with NM-333. Turn right onto NM-333 and follow it for approximately 2 miles. Look for the signs indicating 'Piedra Lisa-South Trailhead' and turn left onto State Route 333 D. Continue straight until you reach the parking area at the trailhead.
