Start at the Carlsbad Main Street Station, located at 1001 S Main St. Board the bus line that heads towards the coastal area. Transfer to a bus that goes towards Dana Point. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the most current routes and times. Once you arrive at the nearest stop to Golden Lantern, walk east for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach 34675 Golden Lantern. The Dana Wharf will be on your right.

Bike Rental
If you prefer biking, there are several bike rental shops around Carlsbad. Rent a bike and head south towards the coast. Follow the path along Pacific Coast Highway (PCH 1). Continue biking for about 15 miles, which will take you to Dana Point. Once you reach Golden Lantern, turn left and ride for a short while until you see Dana Wharf Sportfishing & Whale Watching on your right.

For those who enjoy walking, you can start from the Carlsbad Village. Walk south on Carlsbad Blvd (PCH 1) for about 15 miles. This path will take you along the coast, providing beautiful ocean views. Once you reach Dana Point, turn left on Golden Lantern and walk until you see Dana Wharf on your right at 34675 Golden Lantern.
