    To get from Chaco Culture National Historical Park to Sugarite Canyon State Park by car, start by exiting the park and heading southeast on the main road (FR 7950). Continue for about 12 miles until you reach US-550. Turn left onto US-550 and drive northeast for approximately 45 miles until you reach the junction with I-25. Merge onto I-25 North and continue for about 60 miles. Take exit 451 for NM-526 toward Raton. Follow NM-526 for about 6 miles, and you will arrive at Sugarite Canyon State Park located at 160 NM-526, Raton, NM 87740. Please note that there may be a parking fee at the state park, so ensure you have cash or a credit card ready.
