Getting There

  • Car

    Start from Taos Ski Valley and drive southeast on NM-150 S. Follow NM-150 S for approximately 15 miles until you reach Eagle Nest. Once you arrive in Eagle Nest, turn left onto NM-38 E. Continue on NM-38 E for about 2 miles, then turn right onto Marina Way. Follow Marina Way for a short distance, and you will find Eagle Nest Lake State Park at 42 Marina Wy, Eagle Nest, NM 87718. There is a parking fee of $5 per vehicle, which is payable at the park entrance.

  • Public Transportation

    From Taos Ski Valley, you can take the Taos Express bus service, which operates between Taos and Eagle Nest. Check the schedule as it may vary by season. Board the bus at the designated bus stop in Taos Ski Valley. The ride takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Eagle Nest, you may need to walk or take a short taxi ride to reach Eagle Nest Lake State Park at 42 Marina Wy, Eagle Nest, NM 87718.
