Car
From the nearest major city, Albuquerque, NM, drive south on I-25 S for about 85 miles. Take exit 63 for US-60 W toward Socorro. Continue on US-60 W for approximately 50 miles until you reach the town of Magdalena, NM. Follow NM-169 from Magdalena for about 20 miles. Once you reach the Gila National Forest area, follow the signs for the Gila Wilderness and look for the trailhead for Jordan Hot Springs, which starts at the Gila River. Note that the road may require a high-clearance vehicle as it can be rough in some sections.

Hiking
After parking your car at the trailhead, you will need to hike approximately 4 miles along the Middle Fork Trail (Trail #202). Follow the trail signs and keep an eye out for markers as you navigate through the scenic landscape. The trail will lead you along the Gila River and eventually to the hot springs. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks for the hike.

Public Transportation
While public transportation options are limited, you can take a Greyhound bus to Socorro, NM. From Socorro, you will need to arrange a taxi or a rideshare service to reach Magdalena, NM. Once in Magdalena, follow the same driving directions above to access Gila National Forest. Please note that public transportation may not be the most convenient option and could require significant planning.
