If you are traveling by car, start from Albuquerque, NM. Head west on I-40 and take exit 155 for Coors Blvd. Continue north on Coors Blvd until you reach Montano Rd. Turn left onto Montano Rd, and then take a right onto Atrisco Dr NW. Boca Negra Canyon will be on your left. The total drive is approximately 20 minutes, depending on traffic.

To reach Boca Negra Canyon using public transportation, take the ABQ Ride bus #66 from downtown Albuquerque towards the Westside. Get off at the stop at Montano Rd and Coors Blvd. From there, you will need to walk about half a mile west on Montano Rd, then turn right onto Atrisco Dr NW. Boca Negra Canyon will be on your left. Be sure to check the bus schedule for the latest timings and potential costs, which are typically around $1.00 for a one-way fare.
