Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from the town of Woodstock, head southwest on NY-212 W for about 7 miles. Take a left onto NY-28 S and continue for approximately 5 miles. The Catskills Visitor Center will be on your right at 5096 NY-28, Mt Tremper, NY 12457. There is ample parking available.

  • Car

    From Kingston, take NY-28 W for about 18 miles. You will pass through the towns of Saugerties and Mount Tremper. Keep an eye out for the Catskills Visitor Center, which will be on your left at 5096 NY-28. There is easy access and parking on-site.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, take the Trailways bus from New York City to Woodstock. From the Woodstock bus station, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach the Catskills Visitor Center at 5096 NY-28, Mt Tremper, NY 12457, which is about 7 miles away.

  • Car

    If you are coming from Phoenicia, take NY-214 N to NY-28 E. Continue on NY-28 for about 5 miles. The Catskills Visitor Center will be on your right at 5096 NY-28. There is a dedicated parking lot for visitors.

  • Car

    From the town of Margaretville, take NY-30 N for about 10 miles, then turn left onto NY-28 W. Continue for another 10 miles, and the Catskills Visitor Center will be on your left at 5096 NY-28, Mt Tremper, NY 12457. Parking is available.
