If you are driving, head towards Hudson, NY. From the center of Hudson, head north on State Route 9G (NY-9G). Follow NY-9G for about 2 miles, and you will see the entrance to Olana State Historic Site on your left at 5720 NY-9G. There is free parking available on site.

For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Albany to Hudson. The bus service is provided by the CDTA (Capital District Transportation Authority). Once you arrive at the Hudson bus station, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Olana State Historic Site, as it is about a 10-minute drive from the bus station. Expect taxi fares to be around $15-$20.
