Car
If you're traveling by car, navigate to Ithaca Falls Natural Area by following these directions: From downtown Ithaca, head south on Cayuga Street (NY-34) and continue for about 0.5 miles. Turn right onto Lake Street. After about 0.3 miles, you will see the entrance to Ithaca Falls Natural Area on your left. There is no entrance fee to access the park, and parking is available on the street.
Public Transportation
To reach Ithaca Falls Natural Area using public transportation, take the TCAT bus service. Board the Route 11 bus towards South Hill. Disembark at the stop on Lake Street. From the bus stop, walk about 0.2 miles north on Lake Street, and you will arrive at the entrance to Ithaca Falls Natural Area. The bus fare is $1.50 per ride, and you can purchase tickets on the bus.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, Ithaca is bike-friendly. You can follow the bike lanes from downtown Ithaca, taking Cayuga Street (NY-34) south, then turning right onto Lake Street. The total distance is approximately 1 mile. Be cautious of traffic and use bike paths where available. There are no fees for entering the park, and bike parking is available.
Walking
For those staying nearby or who enjoy walking, you can easily reach Ithaca Falls Natural Area on foot from downtown Ithaca. Head south on Cayuga Street for about 0.5 miles, then turn right onto Lake Street and walk for another 0.3 miles until you see the entrance on your left. This is a pleasant walk, taking roughly 15-20 minutes, and is free of charge.
