Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from downtown Poughkeepsie, walk north on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. Turn left onto Washington Street. Continue walking until you reach the Metro-North train station. From there, you can take the train towards Poughkeepsie. Get off at the Poughkeepsie station, then exit the station and head east towards the intersection of Main Street and New Hackensack Road. Once you reach the intersection, turn left onto New Hackensack Road and continue walking for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach Greenvale Park at 2260 New Hackensack Rd.

• Public Transit

  From downtown Poughkeepsie, head to the nearest bus stop for the Dutchess County Public Transit. Take the Route 5 bus towards the New Hackensack area. Make sure to ask the driver to alert you when you reach the stop nearest to Greenvale Park. Once you get off, walk along New Hackensack Road for a short distance until you arrive at the park, which is located at 2260 New Hackensack Rd.

• Biking

  If you have access to a bike, you can ride from downtown Poughkeepsie to Greenvale Park. Start by heading north on Main Street, then turn left onto Washington Street. Follow Washington Street until you reach the Poughkeepsie Bridge, then turn right onto New Hackensack Road. Pedal along New Hackensack Road for approximately 1.5 miles, and you will find Greenvale Park on your left at 2260 New Hackensack Rd.
