From the center of Hudson, start at Warren Street and head east towards the Hudson River waterfront. Walk along the riverfront promenade and enjoy the views. Continue walking east until you reach the end of the promenade, then turn right onto Route 9G. Follow Route 9G for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with NY-213. Here, you will need to turn left onto NY-213. Continue on NY-213 for approximately 4 miles until you reach High Falls. The D & H Canal Historical site will be on your right at 1315 NY-213. Please ensure to walk safely along the roads as there may not be sidewalks for the entire route.
