Getting There

Walking
Start from the center of Hudson at the intersection of Warren Street and 7th Street. Head east on 7th Street towards the river, then turn left on Columbia Street. Walk north until you reach the intersection with Route 9. Cross Route 9 and continue straight on Columbia Street, which becomes County Route 19. Follow this road as it leads you out of Hudson. After approximately 2 miles, you will see signs for Clermont State Historic Site on your left.

Biking
Begin your journey at the Hudson Riverfront Park. Get on the Hudson River Greenway Trail and head north. After about 1.5 miles, you will reach the intersection with County Route 19. Turn left onto County Route 19 and continue for about 1.5 miles. Look out for the signs directing you to Clermont State Historic Site, which will be on your left.

From Hudson's Amtrak station, take the Columbia County Public Transportation bus (Route 1) towards Germantown. Make sure to check the latest schedule as service may vary. The bus will take you along Route 9 and drop you off near the Clermont State Historic Site stop. From there, it’s a short walk to the entrance of the park.
