From Hunter Mountain, get onto NY-23A W. Follow NY-23A W for about 8 miles until you reach the intersection with NY-9G N. Turn left onto NY-9G N and continue for approximately 6 miles. After you pass through the town of Germantown, you will see signs for Clermont State Historic Site. Turn right onto Clermont Ave. The site is located at 1 Clermont Ave, Germantown, NY 12526. Parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
To reach Clermont State Historic Site from Hunter Mountain by public transportation, first, take a taxi or rideshare service to the nearest bus station in Tannersville. From there, take the 9G bus to Germantown. Once you arrive in Germantown, it's about a 1.5-mile walk to the Clermont State Historic Site.
