    Car

    From Hunter Mountain, get on NY-23A E from the center of Hunter. Continue on NY-23A E for about 6 miles. Merge onto NY-32 S and continue for approximately 3 miles. Take the exit toward US-9W S and merge onto US-9W S. Continue for about 4 miles, then take the exit for NY-199 E. After about 2 miles, turn left onto US-1 S. Continue on US-1 S for about 5 miles, and you will reach Staatsburgh State Historic Site at 75 Mills Mansion Drive, Staatsburg, NY 12580. Note: Parking may be available at the site, but be sure to check for any parking fees.

    Take the Trailways bus from Hunter Mountain to Kingston, NY. The bus typically departs from the Hunter Mountain area. Upon arriving at Kingston, transfer to the Dutchess County Public Transit bus route that goes towards Staatsburg. You will need to disembark at the closest stop near Staatsburgh State Historic Site. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary by day.
