Getting There

Walking
Start at the Ithaca Commons, a central pedestrian area in downtown Ithaca. Head south on the pedestrian mall towards the intersection with Seneca Street. Continue straight, passing by various shops and cafes. After about 0.5 miles, turn right onto Cayuga Street, which will lead you toward the waterfront. Follow Cayuga Street until you reach the intersection with Route 79 (West State Street). Cross Route 79 to continue on Cayuga Street, and after about 0.2 miles, it will turn into Route 89. Continue walking along Route 89 for about 1 mile, enjoying the views of Cayuga Lake on your left. Keep an eye out for signs leading to Six Mile Creek and Wells Falls, as they will guide you toward the entrance of the park where the falls are located.

Public Transportation
From the Ithaca Commons, walk to the nearest TCAT bus stop located on Seneca Street. Take the TCAT bus route 11 towards 'Ithaca College.' You will need to ride for about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Six Mile Creek' stop. From there, walk towards the creek, following the path that leads to the Wells Falls area. The falls are located within Six Mile Creek Park, which you can access easily by following the signs.

If you have access to a bike, start at the Ithaca Commons and head south on the Cayuga Lake waterfront trail. This scenic route will take you along the lake and lead you toward Wells Falls. Follow the trail for approximately 3 miles. When you approach the intersection with Route 89, follow the signs to Wells Falls, which will guide you to the entrance of the park. The ride will take around 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace.
