From downtown Ithaca, start at the Ithaca Commons, located at the intersection of State St and Seneca St. Head south on State St towards the Cayuga Lake. Continue straight for about half a mile until you reach the intersection with Route 89. Cross Route 89 carefully, and continue on the pathway that follows the lake shore. After approximately 0.7 miles, you will reach a small parking area on your right. Potter's Falls is located just a short walk from here. Look for the trail that leads down to the water, and follow it to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Potter's Falls.

Begin at the Ithaca Commons, then take the TCAT bus number 11 or 13 from the bus stop near the intersection of State St and Seneca St. Ride the bus towards South Hill and get off at the stop for 'Ithaca College'. From there, walk south along Route 89 for about 0.5 miles until you reach a small parking area. Potter's Falls is a short walk from here. Follow the signs to the trail leading down to the falls.
