From the center of Collegetown (around College Ave and Dryden Rd), head south on College Ave towards the intersection with Elmwood Ave. Continue straight until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection with Mitchell St. Turn left onto Mitchell St and walk until you reach the trailhead for the Six Mile Creek. The entrance is marked and leads you down to Wells Falls. The walk to the falls takes approximately 15-20 minutes.
Biking
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Collegetown. Start at College Ave and head south, following the same route as the walking directions. Once you reach Mitchell St, turn left and continue biking towards the Six Mile Creek trailhead. Biking should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on your speed.
Public Transportation
For those looking to use public transportation, check the TCAT bus schedules for routes that service Collegetown and the Six Mile Creek area. Take the TCAT bus route that goes towards the South Hill area and get off at the nearest stop to Six Mile Creek.
