From the center of Collegetown (around College Ave and Dryden Rd), head south on College Ave towards the intersection with Elmwood Ave. Continue straight until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection with Mitchell St. Turn left onto Mitchell St and walk until you reach the trailhead for the Six Mile Creek. The entrance is marked and leads you down to Wells Falls. The walk to the falls takes approximately 15-20 minutes.
