From the center of Lake Placid, head west on Main Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 73. Turn left onto Route 73 and walk for approximately half a mile. As you walk, you'll see signs directing you towards the John Brown Farm State Historic Site. After about 0.5 miles, watch for John Brown Road on your right. Turn right onto John Brown Road. The historic site will be located a short distance ahead on your left at 115 John Brown Rd.
