From the Lake Placid Village Center (located at the intersection of Main St and Park Ave), head south on Main St. Continue walking for about half a mile until you reach 2634 Main St, which is the Lake Placid Olympic Museum. The museum will be on your left side. Look for the sign that says 'Lake Placid Olympic Museum' as you approach.

If you are near the Lake Placid Public Library (located at 2233 Main St), you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. Once you have your bike, head east on Main St toward the museum. It’s a straight ride of about 0.6 miles. Stay on the right side of the road, and watch for the sign for the Lake Placid Olympic Museum at 2634 Main St.

Take the local shuttle bus that operates within Lake Placid. The nearest shuttle bus stop is at the Lake Placid Town Hall (located at 2693 Main St). Board the bus heading towards the Main Street route, and inform the driver that you want to get off at the Lake Placid Olympic Museum stop. The museum is located at 2634 Main St, just a short walk from the bus stop.
