After approximately 1 hour, you'll arrive at Westport station. From the station, you can take a taxi or rideshare service directly to Compo Beach, which is about a 10-minute drive.

From various locations in Long Island, you can take a bus to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. From there, catch a bus from the terminal to Westport, CT. Once you arrive at the Westport bus stop, you can take a local taxi or rideshare to Compo Beach, which is approximately a 10-minute drive from the bus stop.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous and are staying near Westport, consider renting a bicycle. Westport is bike-friendly, and you can ride from the town center to Compo Beach. Simply head south on Saugatuck Avenue, then take a left onto Compo Road South, which will lead you directly to the beach. This route is about 2 miles and offers scenic views of the surrounding area.
Walking
If you are already in Westport, you can walk to Compo Beach. Simply head south on Main Street until you reach Saugatuck Avenue. Turn left onto Saugatuck and continue straight until you reach Compo Road South. Turn right, and Compo Beach will be at the end of this road. This walk is approximately 1.5 miles and will take you around 30 minutes.
