Purchase a ticket and board the ferry. Enjoy the scenic ride across the Great South Bay, which takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Ocean Beach, you will be just a short walk from the entrance to the Fire Island National Seashore.

Disembark at Bay Shore station and then walk to the Bay Shore Ferry Terminal to catch the ferry to Ocean Beach.
