Once in Sayville, look for a parking area near the ferry terminal, as Barrett Beach Park is only accessible by ferry or water taxi.

After parking your car in Sayville, head to the Sayville Ferry Service terminal located at 40 River Road, Sayville, NY. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Fire Island. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Fire Island terminal, follow the signs to Barrett Beach Park, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the ferry dock.
