If you are driving to Nissequogue River State Park, start by getting on the Long Island Expressway (I-495). Depending on your starting point, you will want to navigate towards exit 53, which leads to NY-454 W (Commack Road). From there, continue on NY-454 W until you reach NY-347. Merge onto NY-347 and continue until you reach the intersection with NY-25. Take a right onto NY-25 E and follow it to NY-25A. Turn left onto NY-25A E and then follow the signs to Kings Park. The park entrance is located at 799 Route 25A, Kings Park, NY 11754. Make sure to check for parking fees, which may apply.

To reach Nissequogue River State Park via public transportation, take the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) from your nearest station to the Kings Park station on the Port Jefferson Branch. Once you arrive at Kings Park, you can take a local taxi or rideshare service to the park entrance, which is approximately 3 miles away. Alternatively, if you prefer to walk, it will take roughly 1 hour to walk from the Kings Park station to the park by following Route 25A eastbound.
