Car
From New York City, take the George Washington Bridge and merge onto I-95 N. Continue on I-95 N and take exit 8A for US-9W N toward West Point. After approximately 13 miles, take the exit for NY-210 E toward Stony Point. Continue on NY-210 E, which becomes Battlefield Rd. Follow Battlefield Rd for about 1 mile until you reach Stony Point Battlefield State Historic Site located at 44 Battlefield Rd, Stony Point, NY 10980. There is no entrance fee to access the site, but parking may have a nominal fee.

Public Transportation
Traveling by public transportation, take the Metro-North Railroad from Grand Central Terminal to Peekskill station. From Peekskill, you can take the Hudson Link bus (Route 12) towards Stony Point. The bus will drop you off at the nearest stop to the Stony Point Battlefield State Historic Site. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as services may vary. The train ticket cost is approximately $10 one way, and the bus fare is around $2.50.

If you're in New Jersey or other parts of the metropolitan area, you can drive to the nearest Hudson Line train station (like Croton-Harmon) and take the Metro-North Railroad train to Peekskill. After arriving in Peekskill, transfer to the Hudson Link bus (Route 12) to Stony Point. This is a great option if traffic is heavy, as you can avoid driving directly into Stony Point. The total cost for the train and bus is approximately $12.50.
