If you are starting from the Poughkeepsie Train Station, exit the station and head south on Main Street. Continue walking for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. Turn right onto Washington Street and continue for about 0.3 miles. You will see the entrance to Waryas Park on your left, just before the intersection with Waryas Park Promenade.
