    Walking

    If you are starting from the Poughkeepsie Train Station, exit the station and head south on Main Street. Continue walking for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. Turn right onto Washington Street and continue for about 0.3 miles. You will see the entrance to Waryas Park on your left, just before the intersection with Waryas Park Promenade.

    From the Mid-Hudson Bridge area, walk north along the pedestrian walkway of the bridge and enjoy the views of the Hudson River. Upon reaching the end of the bridge, head down the steps and turn right onto Waryas Park Promenade. Continue walking along the promenade for about 0.2 miles, and you will reach Victor C. Waryas Park.

    If you are starting from the Poughkeepsie waterfront area, head south on the Riverfront Park trail. Follow the trail for about 0.4 miles until you reach the Waryas Park entrance at Waryas Park Promenade. The park will be on your left as you approach.

    Public Transportation

    Take the local bus service, such as the Dutchess County Public Transit, to the 'Main St & Market St' stop. From there, walk south on Main Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach Washington Street. Turn right and walk for another 0.3 miles to reach the entrance of Victor C. Waryas Park on your left.
