If you are starting from the Poughkeepsie Train Station, exit the station and head east on Main Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. Turn right onto Washington Street and walk until you reach Parker Avenue. Turn left onto Parker Avenue. Walk straight for about 0.5 miles, and you will see the entrance to Walkway Over the Hudson on your right.
Walking
If you are near the Mid-Hudson Children's Museum, head south on Raymond Avenue until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and continue east until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. Turn right onto Washington Street and then left onto Parker Avenue. Continue walking straight for approximately 0.3 miles until you see the entrance to Walkway Over the Hudson on your right.
Walking
From the Historic Poughkeepsie Waterfront, head north on Main Street towards the Mid-Hudson Bridge. When you reach the intersection with Parker Avenue, turn left. Follow Parker Avenue for about 0.4 miles, and you will find the entrance to Walkway Over the Hudson on your right.
Public Transit
If you are at the Poughkeepsie Train Station, you can take a local bus (Route 1 or Route 2) towards the downtown area. Get off at the stop at Parker Avenue and Main Street. From there, walk south on Parker Avenue for about 0.2 miles, and you will arrive at the entrance of Walkway Over the Hudson on your left.
