From the center of Downtown Syracuse, head south on S Salina St toward W Fayette St. Continue walking straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with W Onondaga St. Turn left onto W Onondaga St and walk for about 0.2 miles. After passing the Onondaga County Public Library on your right, continue straight until you reach S Townsend St. Turn right onto S Townsend St, and you will find Hamilton S. White House at 307 S Townsend St on your left.

To use the Centro Bus service, find the nearest bus stop in Downtown Syracuse. Board the bus on any route that heads south towards the Syracuse University area, like Route 30 or Route 40. Stay on the bus for about 5-10 minutes, and get off at the nearest stop to S Townsend St. Depending on the route you take, you may need to walk about 5 minutes to reach Hamilton S. White House.
