Walking
From the center of University Hill, start at the intersection of Comstock Avenue and E. Genesee Street. Head east on E. Genesee Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with S. Crouse Avenue. Turn right onto S. Crouse Avenue and continue for a short distance until you see the entrance to the Syracuse University campus on your left.

Once you enter the campus, follow the signs towards the Physics Building. Holden Observatory is located on the roof of the Physics Building. As you approach, you will see the building on your right. The observatory entrance is accessible via stairs or an elevator. Look for the entrance marked with signs leading to the observatory.
