Getting There

  • Bus

    From downtown Yonkers, walk to the Yonkers Metro-North train station. Take the Metro-North train towards Grand Central Station and get off at the last stop, which is Grand Central Terminal. Once there, exit the station and find the MTA bus stop for the NJ Transit Bus 158 (to Fort Lee). Board the bus and enjoy the ride. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop for Hudson Terrace. From there, walk a short distance to the Fort Lee Historic Park entrance.

    Start at the Yonkers Metro-North train station and take a train to Hoboken. Once you arrive at Hoboken, exit the station and find the NJ Transit Bus 123 or 126. Board the bus heading towards Fort Lee. After about 20-30 minutes, get off at the stop on Hudson Terrace. Walk a few minutes to reach the Fort Lee Historic Park.

    If you are close to the Hudson River waterfront in Yonkers, you can take a scenic walk along the river to the Fort Lee area. Walk north along the waterfront until you reach the intersection with New York State Route 9A. From there, you can catch the NJ Transit Bus 158 at the nearest bus stop. After a short bus ride, get off at Hudson Terrace and walk to the park entrance.
