Getting There

Train
From Yonkers Station, take the Metro-North Railroad Hudson Line towards Grand Central Terminal. Ride for about 25 minutes and get off at the 125th Street Station. Once at 125th Street, transfer to the subway by taking the A or C train downtown towards the World Trade Center. Ride for about 10 stops and get off at the Canal Street Station. From Canal Street, transfer to the N or R train at the same station and take it to the Prince Street Station. Exit the subway and walk east on Prince Street towards Bowery. Turn left on Bowery, and you will find the New Museum at 235 Bowery on your right.

From the Yonkers downtown area, catch the Bee-Line Bus #1 towards Mount Vernon. Ride for about 30 minutes and get off at the stop at 125th Street and 7th Avenue. From there, transfer to the MTA subway and take the A or C train downtown towards the World Trade Center. Ride for about 10 stops and get off at the Canal Street Station. Transfer to the N or R train and ride to Prince Street Station. Exit the subway, walk east on Prince Street towards Bowery, turn left on Bowery, and the New Museum will be on your right at 235 Bowery.

If you are already near the Yonkers waterfront, walk towards the Yonkers Train Station. From there, take the Metro-North Railroad Hudson Line to Manhattan as described above. If you are closer to the downtown area, walk to the Bee-Line Bus stop and catch the bus to 125th Street. After you arrive at 125th Street, follow the subway directions as provided above.
