    From Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Metro North Train Station. Take the Hudson Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. Get off at the Grand Central Terminal stop. From Grand Central, follow the signs to the 42nd Street subway station. Take the 4 or 5 subway line downtown towards Brooklyn. Get off at the Brooklyn Bridge - City Hall station. Transfer to the R subway line and take it towards Whitehall Street. Get off at the Canal Street station. From Canal Street, walk south on Church Street, then turn left onto Mulberry Street. The Basilica of St. Patrick's Old Cathedral will be on your right at 263 Mulberry St.

    From Yonkers, take the Bee-Line Bus #1 towards the Bronx. Stay on the bus until you reach the last stop at the 242nd Street subway station. From there, take the 1 subway line downtown towards South Ferry. Get off at the Franklin Street station. Walk east on Franklin Street, then turn left onto Mulberry Street. The Basilica of St. Patrick's Old Cathedral will be on your left at 263 Mulberry St.
