Start at the Auckland Ferry Terminal, located at 99 Quay Street, Auckland CBD. Purchase a ticket for the Devonport ferry, which runs frequently throughout the day. The ferry ride takes approximately 12 minutes, offering scenic views of the Auckland skyline. Upon arrival at the Devonport Ferry Terminal, exit the terminal and walk straight onto Victoria Road.

From the Devonport Ferry Terminal, walk along Victoria Road for about 10 minutes. Continue until you reach the intersection with Wairoa Road. Turn left onto Wairoa Road and walk for about 5 minutes until you reach Vauxhall Road. Turn right onto Vauxhall Road; the Devonport Museum will be on your left at 33 Vauxhall Road.

If you prefer to take public transport, from the Devonport Ferry Terminal, look for the bus stop located just outside. Catch the bus number 810 towards Takapuna. You can get off at the Vauxhall Road stop. From there, it is a short walk of about 5 minutes to the museum, located at 33 Vauxhall Road.
