    Start your journey at the Auckland City Centre. Head to the nearest bus stop and board the bus number 486 heading towards 'Papakura Station'. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Get off at the 'Hunua Falls' stop. From there, you will find signs directing you to the entrance of the Hunua Falls Reserve, which is about a 10-minute walk.

    Make your way to Britomart Transport Centre in Auckland. Take a Southern Line train towards 'Papakura' and alight at 'Papakura Station' (approximately 40 minutes). Upon arrival, exit the station and head to the bus terminal. Board bus number 486 towards 'Hunua Falls'. After a short bus ride (about 20 minutes), get off at the 'Hunua Falls' stop. The entrance to the reserve is a 10-minute walk from there.
