    From Auckland Central, take the bus number 70 towards Papakura. The bus will take you to the Papakura train station. Once you arrive at Papakura, transfer to the train heading to Pukekohe. Get off at the Pukekohe station. From there, take the bus number 470 towards Clevedon. You will need to ask the driver to drop you off at the closest stop to Clevedon-Kawakawa Road. Then, it’s approximately a 20-minute walk to the Waitawa Regional Park entrance located at 1191 Clevedon-Kawakawa Road, Kawakawa Bay.

  • Train and Bus

    Begin your journey at Britomart Transport Centre in Auckland. Catch the Southern Line train towards Papakura. Disembark at the Papakura station. From Papakura station, transfer to the bus number 470 towards Clevedon. Get off the bus near Clevedon-Kawakawa Road. Walk for about 20 minutes along Clevedon-Kawakawa Road to reach Waitawa Regional Park entrance at 1191 Clevedon-Kawakawa Road, Kawakawa Bay.
