    Walking

    If you are in Devonport Village, head towards the waterfront along Victoria Road. As you reach the end of Victoria Road, you will see the ferry terminal. From here, take the path leading to Maungauika/North Head. Follow the signs indicating the North Head Historic Walk. The path will lead you uphill through beautiful native bush and historical sites, ultimately leading you to The Summit, which offers stunning views of Auckland and the Waitemata Harbour.

    Public Transport

    From anywhere in Devonport, you can catch a bus heading towards the North Head Historic Walk. Check the local bus schedule as it can vary. Get off at the closest stop to the entrance of the North Head walk. The bus fare is typically around NZD 2.50 - 5.00 depending on your starting point. After disembarking, follow the walking path that leads directly to The Summit.
