From the car park, walk towards the beach and look for the path leading towards Moturiki Island, which is connected to the mainland by a short causeway.

    For those using public transport, catch a Bayhopper bus from Tauranga city center heading to Mount Maunganui. You can board the bus at the Tauranga bus interchange located on Willow Street.
