Bus
From the Octagon in Dunedin, walk to the nearest bus stop at George Street. Take the bus number 77 (Taieri Gorge) towards East Taieri. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at the corner of Three Mile Hill Road and Taieri Road. From there, walk up Three Mile Hill Road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. The Taieri Plain Lookout will be on your left, marked by a small parking area and a scenic viewpoint.
