Bus
Start at the Hamilton Transport Centre located at 600 Victoria Street. Take the bus number 15 (Rotokauri) which runs every 30 minutes. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes, and get off at the Brymer Road stop. From the bus stop, walk north along Brymer Road for approximately 10 minutes. You will see the entrance to Waiwhakareke Natural Heritage Park on your left.

If you are near the Hamilton Gardens, you can walk towards the park. Head northwest on Cobham Drive towards the intersection with Brymer Road. Turn left onto Brymer Road and continue for about 2 kilometers. The entrance to Waiwhakareke Natural Heritage Park will be on your right.

Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, start from the Hamilton CBD and take the cycle path along the Waikato River. Follow the path towards the north until you reach the intersection with Brymer Road. Turn right onto Brymer Road and cycle for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Waiwhakareke Natural Heritage Park on your left.
