From any location in Manawatu-Wanganui, drive towards Whanganui by taking State Highway 3 (SH3). If you're coming from Palmerston North, it's about a 1-hour drive. Follow SH3 until you reach the intersection with Victoria Avenue in Whanganui. Turn onto Victoria Avenue and continue straight until you reach the junction with Pukenamu Drive. Take a left onto Pukenamu Drive, and you will find Queens Park on your right. Parking is available along the street.

You can take a bus to Whanganui from Palmerston North, which usually takes around 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Whanganui bus terminal, you can either walk to Queens Park, which is about a 20-minute walk, or take a local taxi for approximately NZD 10-15. To walk, head south on Ridgway Street, then turn right onto Victoria Avenue and continue straight until you reach Pukenamu Drive. Turn left onto Pukenamu Drive, and Queens Park will be on your right.
